No, a battery is optional. Without one, solar energy you do not use at the time is exported to the grid. With one, you can store it and use it later, such as in the evening.

Solar panels are built to operate for decades, with output declining gradually over time. The manufacturer's warranty document for each panel states its product warranty and performance guarantee.

Most modern inverters and batteries include monitoring through the manufacturer's app. Check the product page or ask us about a specific model.

It depends on the system size, the equipment you choose and how complex the installation is. Product prices are shown in Australian dollars on each product page, and installed systems are quoted individually.

Eligible small-scale solar systems can create Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the Australian Government's Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, which can reduce the upfront cost. The amount depends on system size, location and installation date. Your quote shows any amount that applies.

Savings depend on your energy use, system size, tariff, and how much solar energy you use yourself rather than export, so we do not quote a general figure. Ask us for an estimate based on your own bills.

Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where one is provided. Where we carry out the installation, the workmanship warranty and its length are confirmed in writing with your quote. Both apply in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Warranty page for details.
